    Agreed! When you're an employee, most of that work has been done for you and is taken for granted. As a business owner, this is why you must accept the perceived slowness of progress at the start and just put in hours daily. The more you build, the more your work compounds, and each successive day becomes more impactful.

    That was great and interesting how well it works to notch out a frequency for a voice to sit within background music. .

    For me not enough to concern myself about, I did watch it streamed to my 55inch Samsung TV, but I do have a personal issue that interfered with the experiment. I suffer from Trauma induced ADHD and the Kipling voiceover kept dragging my attention away, resolved only by zero volume. After which, it was not enough for me to concern myself about. If you are watching this on a 100 inch 8k or 12K telly then your suffering is self inflicted and your fault for marginalising yourself, as only about 0.0001% of anything transmitted is close at that level.

    Absolutely first class passage of information, simple, clean, clear, concise (no I did not aim for alliteration) delivery. To put you in the picture I am an old (mid 70’s) man with failing hearing (industrial deafness), but was able to hear, comprehend and stay to the end of the video without any undue stress or strain. Your enunciation 10/10, pronunciation 9/10 as I was born and reared in the UK but still found your ability to not mangle the grammar was quite impressive. My ears kind of tell me Canadian more that actually full blown USA, but regardless I have subscribed.

    Not enough difference to notice most of the time, but there is some subtle difference nevertheless. Look at 2:40 at the straight lines on the pickup truck, the parked cars and the pavement lines. In 4k they are straight, in 1080p the lines break down and the result is what looks like movement or vibrations along the straight lines, this is especially visible in fullscreen mode, which is annoying, but it is also something I probably wouldn't think of if I didn't look for subtle differences.

    Can someone please clarify this for me? The only way a shutter speed of 1/120 for 60fps will have a “normal” looking motion blur, is if you slow that 60 down in post to 24. Same with shooting under 24fps at something like 12fps with a shutter speed of 1/24. The only way that motion blur will look “normal” is if you speed that up in post to 24fps?

    • @colewilliams3437
      @colewilliams3437 16 днів тому

      Like you can’t just shoot in 1/120 60fps and deliver in 24fps and leave that footage at the speed it was shot in and except it to match the same motion blur as if you were to of shot in 1/48 24fps?

    Target audience sounds like "limit yourself". Cola is for everyone, iPhone is for kids and elderly. No?

    • @RealJamesArcher
      @RealJamesArcher 9 днів тому

      A product that's for "everyone" almost always struggles to find a market, because it's message is always vague and generic. A few products achieve widespread appeal across all demographics, but they're such outliers that they should probably be ignored. The VAST majority of products are intended for a specific target audience and will find the most success by narrowly appealing to that specific audience.

    loosing the quality of the music when doing this so, is their a way to fix it?

    • @RealJamesArcher
      @RealJamesArcher 20 днів тому

      That's intentional. You have to choose what you want your audience to focus on. If you want them to focus on high quality music, they're not going to pay much attention to the speaker anyway, so there's not a great way to do both as far as I know.

      Very likely won't work because printers vary so much in how they print color. The benefit of the paint chips is that they're very carefully printed and calibrated.

    We meet again;) I've been working on this after rewatching your playlist several times. Had a lot of practice at the most recent national convention in my field. I succeeded in making some great connections (business to business), but am still working on the customer side of things.

    • @RealJamesArcher
      @RealJamesArcher Місяць тому

      Hello again! 😄 Yeah, that's one of the benefits of going to events like that is that you get a chance to test your wording over and over again. It's almost worth going just for that practice! Are there any events that might give you that opportunity on the customer side?

    • @MisterCkris
      @MisterCkris Місяць тому

      @@RealJamesArcher What I do is niche enough; there aren't customer-focused events I'm aware of. Though more likely, I haven't learned how to think about it correctly yet. Conferences and conventions are 100% worth attending. Each year, I've learned more, gained confidence, and become more comfortable sharing what I do; working hard to do it in the fashion you outline in your video. However, figuring out how to describe it has been an immense challenge. I began taking my iPad with me, sharing my work, and allowing those I chatted with to give their perspective. That was a turning point for me. Sharing, shutting up, and listening. This has helped me slowly learn what wording that makes sense to the audience.
